Janitor Ahjussi

I’m reaching out to you with some heavy news. My parents were in town last weekend and they gave me updates on New York as usual, but one piece of information was particularly disturbing. As the NCNY family dwindles down due to ever-changing demographics our beloved janitor ahjussi was laid off from his job. According to my parents, with this, he decided that it was time for him to move back to his family in China. Because of janitor ahjussis dedication and commitment to NCNY, he’s been able to provide a comfortable living situation for his family. However, as janitor ahjussi prepared for his departure, he rented a room from some people who accused him of stealing a piece of jewelry. With this accusation, the people beat him and stole all of his money. (Around a couple of thousand dollars.) He’s been in the hospital for a couple of weeks now still recovering from the altercation. The couple who accused him ran off with his money. I’m hoping that we can come together as a family to pray for him and provide any assistance that we can. I've added Pastor Jae Chung from Jireh Church as the beneficiary of this campaign. Pastor Jae Chung has been visiting nearly every day to support janitor ahjussi through this difficult transition.
