Hey everyone my wonderful mum , Janine , has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. My mum has always been a pillar of strength , dedicating her life to working with children and constantly offering a helping hand to anyone in need. She’s the first to lend support and the last to ask for anything in return. But now, after being diagnosed with breast cancer, she’s facing a battle much greater than any she’s had to fight before , in the way of surgery and possible life altering treatment requiring time off from work. As a self-employed individual, she won’t have paid time off to cover the time she’ll need for surgery and treatment, and I know she would hate to be a burden on our family so will be rushing back into work as soon as she is able in order to reliever the financial stress to our family . This means, alongside her fight against cancer, she’s also battling the stress of not knowing how we’ll make ends meet. I’m setting up this GoFundMe because, even though she would never ask for help herself, I know she needs it more than ever.
