Janina Strong

My name is Amy, and I'm writing on behalf of my best friend, Janina Garraway. Janina is one of the most selfless, giving, kind, and beautiful human beings on the planet. Growing up dancing, she moved on to dance professionally as a young adult, dancing for many artists on numerous jobs, all while staying incredibly humble. You'd never know just what an amazing person she is while talking to her, never boastful and always kind - I think that makes her even more amazing.

In recent years, Janina started her own 501c3 Non-Profit, Garraway PAC, to give opportunities to youth who may not otherwise have the means or resources to train in dance, giving them life changing opportunities and education at no cost to them.

Janina recently gave birth to a beautiful baby boy on January 17th, 2024 after a tough pregnancy filled with quite a bit of pain for Janina. Upon delivery, that pain didn't subside, and after many tests, Janina was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colorectal Adenocarcinoma when her infant son was just five weeks old. Janina began chemotherapy right away and has stayed incredibly strong throughout her journey.

While she is as mentally strong as she can be, this journey hasn't been easy, and it isn't over. Bills are piling up, and Janina isn't able to work at this time due to her aggressive chemotherapy, radiation treatment, and surgery plan, so we are turning to our community. Janina, her family, and friends would be so grateful for any donation, even if that is taking time to pray for her strength. Her goal is to fight and live many more years so she can support her baby boys journey to manhood.

Her story will be triumphant, and we believe it will help many people. We are reaching out today, to help her get through this battle so she can help so many others in their journey and live a long life with her son.

All donations will be used for legal bills and medical costs associated with cancer treatment such as medical, nutrition, lodging, and transportation.
