My name is Kayleigh, commonly knows as Ms. Kayleigh, and I’m a professional riding instructor as well as a single mom to four wonderful kids. Over the years, I’ve seen firsthand—both through my lessons and my own life experience—how much kids need a safe space to grow, learn, and feel proud of their accomplishments. Now more than ever, children need to be outside, to have an outlet where they feel safe, and to learn important life skills like communication and patience. Horses have played a huge role in my life, and I see every day how they can help others, too.

I’m raising funds to earn my Equine Specialist in Mental Health Certification through Path Intl. This certification will allow me to share valuable knowledge, receive donations through our nonprofit, and expand the services we offer to our community. With this new credential, I’ll be able to broaden the Richmond County UGA 4H horse club and start a program for children with incarcerated parents—giving even more kids the chance to benefit from the healing power of horses.

We personally know what horses have done for us, and I feel a deep calling to give back what they have given to me.
