Janice Herbert has been at Muscoy Elementary serving as our librarian for the past five years. Her classroom visits have always been a positive experience for everyone. Her bright, cheerful smile always made students and teachers feel loved. She regularly addressed everyone with "Hello Beautiful!" or "Keep Smiling!"

On Friday, April 2, 2021 Mrs. Herbert, Black History Bee Team Leader, was preparing to deliver gifts to students who had recently participated in the district's Black History Bee when she suffered a medical emergency.  She was found unconscious in her car and is currently in the Intensive Care Unit. Unfortunately, due to her critical condition, she has not regained consciousness since her incident and is on life support.

Mrs. Herbert dedicated herself wholeheartedly to her fellow faculty, as well as to all the children who looked to her for guidance. Presently, due to pandemic restrictions, her work schedule lessened, so in light of that, we are asking for your support to assist the family with medical bills. Your prayers as well as any donations would be greatly appreciated.
