Janice Hart-Braithwaite Memorial Scholarship Fund
Donation protected
Dear Family & Friends,
As many of you may know, on January 1, 2019 God called our mother Janice home to heaven. She passed away peacefully in her sleep after a brave 13-month bout with a rare and aggressive form of cancer. Despite the toll the cancer and treatments took on her body our mom remained strong in spirit and lived her best life until the very end. Throughout her life our mother Janice was full of love, light, and dance. We will strive to live up to her example, and pass it along to future generations. She taught us that everyone has their own unique journey to experience and she embraced her's and danced through life with grace, strength, and unwavering beauty.
In lieu of flowers, we’d be so grateful if you would consider making a donation, however big or small to a scholarship fund we’ve started. In her honor and to keep her memory and love for dance alive this scholarship will be donated to aspiring dancers from the school she graduated from and taught as a dance teacher for many years, Prospect Heights High School’s Brooklyn Music & Theatre School.
Each of you have had a profound impact on the amazing woman our mother Janice was. We hope you are able to join us in remembering all the laughter and love she brought to so many lives.
With Love,
Mahria and Leah Braithwaite
