Janice Helen Berens

July 29th, 1961 - June 16th, 2021

In honor of what would have been Janice's 60th birthday we would like to do something special.

Janice was a pillar in Winnipeg's West End Community. Her every endeavor in life not only showed her passion for the community but also her passion for helping people. She was such a logical woman, full of wisdom and wit. Whether you knew her through her time with H&R Block; The School Division; or Elections Manitoba I'm sure you could agree a conversation with Janice was never dull. Many of us sought out her advice on issues big and small. It is with that in mind that we are humbly requesting your help in purchasing a park bench in her memory to be placed in Vimmy Ridge Park. A place for any and all who knew her to have a seat and hopefully share a conversation.

Any funds that exceed our goal of $2500 will be donated in Janice's name to a cause close to her heart. Katmai Conservancy is an organization she supported. She loved to watch the bears on their bear cam. So lets ensure her beloved bears can be shared with all. Please take a look, you wont be disappointed.
