Janice Annette Jones Memorial Nursing Scholarship

Hello dear friends and family, September 10, 2022 marks two years since my mother passed away after a valiant fight against breast cancer. For those who did not have the opportunity to meet her, she was a kind, dedicated and compassionate woman. She was selfless and devoted to her faith and family. She led a life committed to improving the lives of others as a social worker in LA County for nearly two decades.

In a commitment to continue her legacy, my family and I have partnered with the UCLA School of Nursing to create the Janice Annette Jones Memorial Nursing Scholarship! All donations collected from this GoFundMe will be used to fund the scholarship. For the next four years, $3,000 will be allocated to the School of Nursing, totaling $12,000. The scholarships will be awarded annually to one undergraduate and one graduate nursing student demonstrating financial need. Students who are members of the Pan African Nursing Student and Alumni Association (PANSAA) will be considered first.
