On April 7th, 2018 I was struck by a vehicle crossing a busy street on my bike at 6pm, leaving me with seven fractures in my right ankle and leg and three fractures in my left arm. Due to the severity of the injuries, the accident has  left me wheelchair bound for at least the next three months and I will be unable to work. 
Surgery for my ankle is set for April 20th, 2018. My presumed discharge date will be April 23rd, 2018. 
I'll need finical help with Rehab, Physical Therapy, a nurse to come check on me - all of these will be in home three times a week for three months.Wheelchair rental, a shower chair, an accessible room, a dog walker/ sitter and transportation to and from doctor appointments and grocery store. 
After speaking to my attorney, this seems like a good option for the time being as the case will take approximately  1 year to settle from my full heal date. 
I believe anyone who really knows me, knows I don't like asking for help. I feel at this point, with this accident and sastained injuries I'm left with no other options, as I physically and financially won't be able to take care of myself for a few months.
