Janet Lee Memorial Ice Show and Scholarship Fund

This GoFundMe is being used to raise funds for a Memorial Ice Show in loving memory of the figure skater and coach, Janet Lee. It will be held April 19th, 2025 at LA Kings Valley Ice Center in Panorama City.

Janet Lee was a decorated figure skater who competed Nationally and Internationally, representing the United States of America and her home town of Los Angeles, California. After retiring competitively, she toured the US as a principal skater for Ice Capades and later went into teaching.

As a coach, she had skaters of all levels and ages. Kids starting out at 2 years old, Junior National Competitors and skaters as old as 70 at Adult Nationals. She put together Ice Shows, Competitions and test sessions, helping skaters achieve all kinds of goals in skating.

July of 2024, Janet passed away after a long battle with Stage 4 Breast Cancer. My goal is to create a beautiful Memorial Ice Show in her honor for all those that she has touched their lives. At this show, I want to award one hard working skater a scholarship under the name "The Janet Lee Scholarship". My hope is, that with your help, we can continue this scholarship every year and for many many years to come. To be able to help skaters the way that Janet helped them for many decades.

Janet was a friend to so many people, a best friend, a sister, a wife, a mother, an animal lover, a colleague, a mentor, an inspiration and so much more to so many people. I would greatly appreciate any help you can offer to make the show and the scholarship run! Thank you so much
