On Wednesday April 26th, my mother was sadly trapped inside her home which had caught fire. Due to the intense thick smoke and a surgury that she was recovering from, she was unable to make it to safety. This tragedy has left her with 2nd and 3rd degree burns over 30% of her body (face, neck, chest, and both arms and hands). Her lungs were also greatly affected and were rated a 4 on a scale of 1-4, with 4 being the worst. She will be in the burn unit for 4 weeks or more recovering.

Meanwhile, we need help getting together the funds to provide her with new clothes, proper housing, medical bills, and follow up treatment. We are unsure of all the costs needed, but with the serverity of her injuries they are sure to be extensive.

This is going to be a long road to recovery. She is always there for everyone else and when she can't be there she is praying constantly. Now is an opportunity to bless her in her time of great need.
