Janet Elizabeth McLain Jones Funeral Fund

Sadness surrounds our home and family due to the sudden passing of our beloved mother Janet Elizabeth McLain Jones.   Due to unfortunate circumstances of hard times, poor health and limited resources we find ourselves with the realization that mom was not able to prepare for end of life expenses.  She was one to always be prepared and most times had more insurance than one would need.  She always avoided the conversation of how we would get along after her passing.  I am sure due to some of her life experiences in which she took care of others and put their needs first forced her to prioritize medical and day to day needs and therefore the policy lapsed. I  now understand why she avoided the subject.   I am sure she knew the day would come but hard decisions needed to be made and one must have the essentials of daily living.  Living on a fixed income for many years became an extreme hardship as her health declined and the cost of living continued to rise.  
We would like to be able to provide our mother a simple burial alongside her infant son and young daughter.  We are asking for contributions to help ease the burden to her husband and family. Sometimes one must look past their pride and reach out for the help of others in times of need.  We will be most grateful for any contribution to this fund and hope someday we can pay if forward to someone else in need.  God Bless You.
