On the morning of September 5th, the unthinkable happened. Janet awoke around 5am to the smell of smoke in her Westland condo. Moments later, with her dog Harley in her arms, she rushed out of the door of her building. Moments later, the roof Woodview building number 11 was engulfed in flames. The Westland Fire Department worked as quickly as they could. However, the Fire Chief delivered the message that her condo, and seven others, were a total loss.

Thankfully, all life made it out of the building with no injuries. However, with the fire resulting in everything being burned, soaked, or destroyed by smoke, Janet and Greg are left with very little, less answers, a lot of unknowns.

On behalf of Janet and Greg, this GoFundMe serves as a vehicle to raise funds so they, and Harley, can live as close to a normal life as possible when the condo is fully restored. Please consider donating what you can to ensure they can make it through this situation with as little stress as possible.

Thank you for your support.
