Janet and Ed Cooper
Donation protected
Ed was diagnosed with cancer in November of 2018. He had major surgery in January. He had 33 radiation treatments. On July 29th, 2019 we received PET scan results that he is cancer free. Due to surgery complications however, he is unable to work.
On August 5th Ed was in the yard. There was a bird that kept getting Ed's attention. He went in to get Janet to show her. That is when he found her taking baby aspirin. She said she didn't feel good. Ed took her to the ER. Janet suffered full cardiac arrest within minutes after arriving at the ER. As we watched the ER team continue to bring her back, we could only pray. She was on life support until August 9th. She is still on lung support. She is just beginning to wake up on August 15th. She will have a very long recovery.
As you can imagine, the financial strain is a reality. Two major illnesses in less than one year leaves them with stress, and worry. Help in any amount together will make a big difference for them to focus on healing.
Thank you.
