My name is Jodi and I am fundraising for my best friend Janet and her husband David McClellan. On Thursday, July 6th, Janet and David were in a horrible boating accident on the Intercoastal Waterway. Both David and Janet sustained multiple and life-threatening injuries. David has a traumatic brain injury and a multitude of fractures along the left side of his body including a broken jaw, collarbone, arm and ribs. Janet has broken ribs, fractures to the L1, L2, L3, and L4 vertebrae, as well as a broken femur, crushed kneecap, and compound fracture of the tibia. Both Janet and David will require numerous surgeries over the coming months as well as modifications to their home to accommodate mobility needs. While medical insurance will cover some of the cost, we hope to raise funds for the co-pay and out-of-pocket expenses not covered. Please consider donating to help with these expenses.
