I have a dear friend named Janessa Morales that has recently been diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. Janessa is waiting on results from a biopsy of an axillary lymph node, but currently it is between stages 2-3. Triple negative breast cancer is aggressive and differs from other types of invasive breast cancer in that it tends to grow and spread faster, has fewer treatment options, and tends to have a worse prognosis (outcome). So the chemo regimen is more aggressive to fight it. She is currently looking at 12 weekly treatments of Pembrolizumab, Carboplatin and Paclitaxel. And then 8 biweekly treatments of Doxorubicin, cyclophosphamide and an immunotherapy drug. Because the chemo is so aggressive she will lose her hair within 2-3 weeks of her first dose. She will be out of work for at least the first 12 weeks.

Janessa has a set of twins that recently turned two and a young man turning 7 in December, she loves being a mom. She recently started a new career at Barns Jewish Hospital. We are asking for LOTS of prayers, as she is a God fearing woman, but also asking for donations that could help with medical expenses, bills, food, and anything in between.
