Hello!

What’s up, world? I’d like to keep it short and sweet (like me) :

I’m finally pursuing my dream of recording original music! As you might imagine, this is not a cheap endeavor. I started working with my producer back in August and the plan so far is to create an EP with at least 5 of my songs on it. At the moment, the cost is looking like at least $600 per song to record, produce, and mix (and that’s with a “friend discount”).

If you know me, you probably know I have been passionate about music my whole life but for many reasons, including financial, I have been afraid to take this leap. I have overcome years of fear, anxiety, and imposter syndrome to get to this point - now all I need is the fiscal means.

Living in Los Angeles with some of the highest rent in the country has been a struggle for little ol’ artist/part-time nanny me, and I need your help friends and fam. I’m ready to share my work with the world, and I want to do it right.

I’ll admit, like so many on this gofundme platform, it is difficult for me to be asking for this kind of help. We’re living in crazy times, in an impossible capitalist economy. I know there are so many out there that are struggling infinitely more than I am, and that need money for much more basic things. It feels silly to be asking for something of a luxury. But, I still find myself a dreamer like anyone else, with one life to live, and a deep desire to share my art with the world while I can. I hope my music will spark joy, catharsis, and inspiration.
