Janelle's healing
Donation protected
As some of you may know, Janelle has been struggling with some serious and complicated health issues. We really want her to get better and heal! She is a brave and determined soul, who has gone through so much with her health.
She hasn't been well enough to work since late 2016 and needs our help with covering medical costs for outstanding bills, further testing, treatments, physical therapy, surgeries, transportation costs, etc.
I want to first mention, that this girl is one of the most dedicated people I know when it comes to eating healthy, working out, getting regular sleep and all those things we're told to do but often ignore. I mean, never in my life have I seen someone who finds a way to sneak something green into every meal! She has always been an active person and loved to travel, but because of her health issues has not been able to be the active person she had been.
She's been bravely facing severe, chronic GI pain as well as EBV and Lyme disease which long went misdiagnosed.
Unfortunately, she felt unable to cope and attempted to take her life this March. She survived, thanks to the quick response and the talented team at Dell Seton. They performed 27 surgeries over 8 hours to repair injuries and recently performed another surgery to attach the median nerve. Over the next 1 1/2 to 2 years she will be working with a physical therapist to gain feeling and function in her left hand.
She continues to seek care for abdominal pain and complicated GI issues. Although not a definitive solution has been found, they will be doing laproscopic surgery to explore and remove benign growths.
Thoughts and prayers are appreciated as she seeks not only the medical attention she needs, but mental health care as well. She has a lot to face and we want to help lighten the financial burden so she can focus on resting and healing mentally and physically.
