Diagnosed with a fast moving lymphoma carcinoma on March 31st of 2015, Janeen and her small family have been working hard to handle both this aggressive disease and the multiple complications that have come along with it. The cancer has moved into her abdomen, brain, and is now affecting her heart and lungs.
Determined to overcome this cancer Janeen is a normal mother with a 13 year old son and a loving husband who is an army veteran. They have always been a close family, hourly workers, and have never had the means or extra income to afford large expenses, vacations, or even a honeymoon. This disease has been devastating financially as well as emotionally.
It came suddenly, has moved quickly and has affected so many parts of their lives including their son who struggles to understand what's going on with mom as this small family seeks to learn how to understand Lymphoma and what this mom & wife is going thru.
The family has been most grateful for the loving care that Janeen is recieiving , at St Dominics cancer center including daily radiation treatement, multiple hospital stays, radiosurgery for the brain tumor, and of course weekly chemotherapy.
Janeen's is facing anemia and heart issues almost weekly now (although it has been such a very short time since being diagnosed) and is in the hospital about once a week to get transfusions, chemotherapy, and inpatient treatment of her heart and radiation lumps/burns.
Any donations are welcome, even the smallest. God blesses all of us, and with his compassion will allow her to come through this and stay with her family who are all desperatly looking for a way to help her get through this. They are new to the area of Mississippi that they live in, and do not have a large support community. Any thoughts, advice, comments, and friendships are most welcome!
