Jane Paul Indigenous Women's Resource Centre

We are Acadia School of Music students and we are eager to bring this event to you!

We have been working on hosting this fundrasier concert in our Playing and Hearing course here at Acadia University, with our Professor Jeff Torbert.

This is a live event at the Festival Theatre Building on Main Street, in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, but you can also watch it online if you can't make it in person. The livestream begins at 7:30pm ADT, Tuesday, April 1st. Here's the link to the Facebook event page.

The event is free of charge, though we are accepting donations via GoFundMe for the Jane Paul Indigenous Women's Resource Centre.

The Jane Paul Indigenous Women’s Resource Centre has been serving the Sydney, Cape Breton area for 10 years. A not-for-profit organization, The Jane Paul Centre operates on volunteered time and donations to run workshops and classes for skill development (educational, employment) as well as hosting various cultural ceremonies and teachings. The Jane Paul Centre aims to engage Indigenous women and girls in community, and offer aid and resources to those experiencing high-risk situations, such as poverty, homelessness, and domestic violence.
