On June 27th, 2025, our mother, Jane Parker, was diagnosed with Stage 4 small cell liver and cervical cancer. She then underwent chemotherapy treatment until late October.

In November, she learned that she totally beat the cervical cancer and that she was on her way to beating the liver cancer. On her birthday, December 10th, she was rushed to the hospital because she was severely ill, and she was admitted as we sought to find out the cause of her illness. After a hard battle in the hospital, on December 23rd, we found out the cancer had spread to her brain, and her illness progressed to brain death, and that she was reliant on a ventilator to breathe.

We have given time to let family get here and have made the decision to end life support on December 31st, 2025.

We are starting this fundraiser to help cover the family's expenses and to carry out her last wishes, arrangements, and to create a cushion of financial security for her disabled daughter who lived with her and was fully dependent on her as she goes through these devastating life changes.

Our mother's wishes were to be cremated and for her ashes to be spread in her two favorite places: in Oahu, Hawaii, as she felt deeply connected to the ocean and at peace there, and where the wild horses run (Montana/Wyoming area), as horses were a huge part of her life and part of her spirit.
