Help Jane pay for surgical excision of tumours

Hi friends! As many of you know I was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma at the start of 2020. After a few years on a clinical trial I luckily became clear of all visible melanoma and have been off treatment for 5 months.
And now it gets weird.. I walked into the end of a wheelbarrow handle a few months ago and as the bruise dissipated a lump grew. I thought it was Myositis ossificans (as I’ve had it before), but my regular scan lit it up as active and a biopsy confirmed melanoma. It turns out these pesky blood sucking melanoma cells can wake up at the smell of blood from anywhere in the body. The cells recognise the lovely micro environment of inflammation and travel there where they grow, play, party and be merry in the bruisey broken capillary blood pool… It’s called inflammatory oncotaxis and it’s very rare in melanoma…. And to make matters worse, there are also two new lumps above my sternum which strangely didn’t light up on the pet, but ultrasound said they’re the same composition as the thigh tumour.
So I’m back on treatment already and my oncologist recommends I get these tumours removed for molecular testing asap. The problem is I’ll be on a wait list if I go through the public health system. I don’t have private health insurance but I can do it privately this week coming and the surgeon is super lovely and bulk billing my consult and his surgical fees. But I need $2005.50 to pay the hospital and anaesthetic.
I feel super embarrassed to ask but I’ve been on disability since mid 2020 and had over two and a half years of amazing support from my parents and Eddie which is still ongoing. It’s been a lot, and this recent cancer progression was so unexpected. I’d really prefer to crowdfund this surgery. I thought I was going to be able start my life again so it’s a pretty hefty blow.. again. I’d really appreciate a share or any $ if you can spare it. Thank you ❤️
