It is with profound sadness that I share the news of Jane’s passing on 30 September 2025.
After a courageous and long battle with cancer she left us far too suddenly and soon.
Jane was not just a dear friend to me—she was a devoted mother whose world revolved around her incredible 17-year-old daughter, Lily Marie.
In the blink of an eye, our lives have been upended. As Lily’s legal guardian, I’ve stepped in to care for her during this unimaginable time of grief. She’s a bright, resilient young woman on the cusp of adulthood, but the sudden loss of her Mum has left us both reeling and now we’re facing the harsh realities of funeral arrangements, and the everyday costs of keeping a roof over our heads while navigating this new chapter.
We never imagined we’d need to ask for help like this, but the truth is, we’re struggling.
