This Go Fund me page is near and dear to my heart. We found out earlier this week that my Aunt and Uncle's house in Magalia did not survive the devastating fire. They have lost nearly everything.

Aunt Jan and Uncle Greg (as most everyone in my life knows them as) purchased the Magalia house as their retirement home. They moved up there full-time from our hometown of Santa Rosa when the last of the Dold children moved out and went off to college. This house was not only full of their memories but it was full of our family memories. They were the keepers of all things important in our lives. It was in this house that we celebrated many Christmases and Thanksgivings. It was this house that we went to in the summers and spent hours playing boardgames and lounging in the boat on Lake Oroville. It was in this house that we told them they were going to be promoted to Noni and Poppy. Between Aunt Jan's collections of birds, roosters and tea cups adorning every shelf and Uncle Greg's beloved Z28 Camaro and Chevy step side pick-up in the garage, it was a house full of love.

No amount of money can bring back what is gone but it can make the steps of moving forward and replacing 47 years of memories a little easier. Aunt Jan and Uncle Greg took in my brother, sister and I when we were children. They never asked for a single thing. They have always looked out for others and helped those that needed to be helped. They are the most kind hearted , loving and generous people I know. I don't know what my life would look like without their love and support all of these years. This fire has been devastating and I would love nothing more than to make life just a tiny bit easier for them during this transition.
Thank you in advance for all of your kind words, thoughts and prayers at this time.
Love,
Ruthie
