Janan is a stray cat currently receiving veterinary care. She stopped eating properly and became weak, and was brought in to be checked out.

Bloodwork showed the pattern vets look for with FIP — feline infectious peritonitis. It's a serious viral disease that used to be a death sentence for cats, but is treatable now with an extended course of antiviral medication, on top of the hospitalization and monitoring needed along the way. She's currently on IV fluids while she's stabilized and the treatment plan gets underway.

The antiviral course alone runs for weeks, and between that, hospitalization, and the repeat bloodwork needed to track her progress, the costs add up fast, and it came completely out of nowhere. I'm helping raise funds to cover it so Janan gets a real shot at recovering. Every contribution, even a small one, genuinely helps, and so does sharing this with anyone who might be able to chip in.
