Jana and Nick got married in early 2009.  Later that year she got the flu and virus that ended up damaging her heart.  Her heart was enlarged and unable to adequately circulate the blood.  This condition was managed with limited activity and medication until last year.  In 2015 this was no longer the case, Jana got sick and the decision made to have her undergo a surgical implanted Heart Pump called an LVAD.    This is considered a "bridge to transplant".  In order to get on the Transplant List, Jana had to lose 55 pounds.  She was placed on the Transplant List in June of this year and has since lost an additional 15 pounds.    Two days ago, Jana and Nick got  the call that someone's family had to make the most unselfish decision, during that families' most heartbreaking time, for a complete stranger.  A "young" person's healthy heart was donated!   

The Morrelli's journey has been documented and viewed by thousands of people interested in their story.  The road ahead will come with challenges and financial struggles.  I am sharing their story, and facebook posts with you so you can see first hand that these two young people need our support!
