Hi Everyone! Hope this finds you well. This is extremely difficult for me to do as I typically like to allow my peers to get to know me for me and not by something I can’t change, but I'm willing to push my greatest insecurity to the side in hopes to see some good come from it.
I have a hearing loss and I need hearing aids.
I was fortunate enough to grow up under my parents amazing insurance where I was allowed a new pair of hearing aids every year. But now, I’m on my own, trying to adult, with a desperate need of a new pair without adequate insurance to help.
$6000 will go towards a pair of hearing aids that are fit for my type of hearing loss. I am looking to raise the money as soon as possible because I currently only have one hearing aid and I’m struggling to hear my peers. Especially in the crossfit gym, aka my greatest source of happiness! :)
