On November 1, I am running the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon for Girls on the Run NYC, and I’m working to raise the remaining $4,459 of my $5,500 fundraising commitment.

My first marathon was about supporting my son during a really challenging season in his life. He was doing something incredibly hard, and I wanted to meet him in that space by doing something hard too. It was my way of saying, “I’m with you.

This marathon is for my daughter.

As she builds her own path, she inspires me more than she probably realizes. Watching her step into her strength pushes me to keep stepping into mine. I want her to see that courage doesn’t have an expiration date and that we are never finished becoming braver, stronger versions of ourselves. I hope when she sees me training on tired mornings and pushing through long miles, she feels what I’ve always wanted her to know: she is capable of extraordinary things, and so am I.

What better charity to run for than one dedicated to helping young girls grow into strong, confident women—just like the daughter who inspires me every day.

Girls on the Run helps girls build confidence, resilience, and leadership through running and mentorship. Programs like this help young girls discover the same strength and courage that I see in my daughter.

As part of running the marathon with this charity team, I committed to raising $5,500.

So far, I have raised $1,041, and I'm working toward the remaining $4,459 needed to fulfill that commitment.

Several friends and family mentioned that the official fundraising page provided through the organization was confusing to navigate, so I created this page simply to make donating easier. Any funds raised here will go directly toward fulfilling my Girls on the Run marathon fundraising commitment.
