Jan vs Cancer round 2

Jan Mariet Thomas has bounced back from a hospice bed and we are hoping and praying she will do it again! She’s always struggled with illness, and if you have read her memoir, you’ll know it’s never stopped her (within reason). She is now faced with stage 4 squamous cell carcinoma which has been deemed inoperable. There are many visits to Moffitt Cancer Center in her future; between medical, travel, and accommodations, she is facing some lofty costs. Jan has been on a fixed income for many years, yet she’s always eager to donate to children’s schools or sport fundraisers, as well as supplies for teachers’ classrooms. She is a retired elementary teacher, a tutor, a former Girl Scout troop leader, and passionate about sharing knowledge however she can.
