Hi, I’m Jo, Jan’s daughter. It is with great sadness that I share the news of my mum’s passing. After battling dementia and Parkinson’s for several years, she passed away peacefully in the hospital with her sister by her side.

As her only child, I am now arranging her funeral and wake. I want to give Mum the heartfelt send-off she deserves, surrounded by her loved ones—family and friends who meant so much to her. However, the costs involved are mounting, and while I see this as my responsibility, I’ve been touched by friends and family who have expressed a desire to help.

With this in mind, I’ve set up this page as a way for those who wish to contribute toward the funeral and wake expenses to do so. Please know there is absolutely no obligation—this is simply for those who feel they’d like to support in this way.
