It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved coworker and friend, Jan ( John) Surmacz, who was taken from us unexpectedly due to a heart attack on March 11th, 2024. John was not just a colleague at Union Beverage Packers, LLC he was a cherished friend, a mentor, and a beacon of kindness and positivity in our lives.

John’s untimely departure leaves behind a grieving family - his spouse living in tiny apartment in Elizabeth, NJ and his Daughter and Grand Children in Poland. In these difficult times, we, his work family, want to ensure that we do everything we can to support them, not only emotionally but also financially.

We are setting up this GoFundMe to help John’s family with immediate expenses and to contribute to a fund for his grand children education, a cause that was close to John’s heart. John always advocated for the importance of education and had big dreams for his Grand Children futures. Let’s come together to honor John’s legacy and support his family in a way that would make him proud.
