Jan Haynes Emergency Funds
Jan has recently been diagnosed with lymphoma again. She has many tumors tumors that are pressing on her liver and pancreas, causing pain and very intense itching from head to toe, and other symptoms. She’s had a few different procedures done since she’s been hospitalized. Today she had a pic line put in to give her her first chemo treatment which includes five different chemo meds, which will be repeated every two weeks. A few years back, she had non Hodgkin lymphoma and underwent chemotherapy to get the tumors she had under control. The treatment was successful but of course a long and hard process. She was able to live cancer free for a few years. They said it was a cancer that normally comes back after a time, possibly months, possibly years, but possibly not at all. We appreciate that she had a few years cancer free and are staying hopeful that the treatment will be as successful as last time. It came back this time as a more aggressive type, unfortunately and the treatment will be harder. Last time, we chose not to do a go fund me account but this time around, being in the middle of a pandemic, things are a lot more unsure None of her children or family are able to visit her at this time because only one person is allowed to be with her during the length of her stay at the hospital. Doug has been with her, supporting her through all of this and informing the family of what is going on. We would greatly appreciate any donation you can give or even just sharing this post to help us raise money so Doug can focus his time and energy on helping Jan and not stress on finances so much. We will try to keep you updated as we know more. Thank you so much.
