If you lived in South County, chances are you knew Jan. She was such a bright light in so many lives. She will truly be missed by so, so many. Jan had such a beautiful, loving and caring soul. She was everyone’s “Mama Jan”. The one thing she loved more than being a mom, was being a grandmother. This is a true tragedy, things will never be the same without her. Jan was an amazing woman and everyone knows it, no words we can fit together will ever be enough. We are asking for donations to give Jan the service she deserves, and to help Kacy with financial obligations left behind. She was suddenly taken from us on Sunday 12/6, just one day before her first granddaughters 15th birthday. Leaving behind her elderly parents, her daughters, and her grandchildren. On October 19, 2020 Kacy had unexpectedly delivered Jan’s first grandson. Due to complications with Kacy’s pregnancy, Griffin was transferred to Children’s National Hospital where he spent three weeks in the NICU. Jan was Kacy’s biggest support during this difficult time. Kacy is on mandatory unpaid maternity leave at the moment. This unexpected circumstance has left the family heart broken and in need of your support.
