Jan Dixon's Farewell Gift at KES

As many of you know, Jan Dixon will be retiring as the librarian at KES (Kennebunk Elementary School) at the end of this school year. What a wonderful run she has had sharing book and stories with many of the children over the years.

Ryan Quinn (KES principal) has a plan to honor her years spent at KES with a marvelous Lupine garden to be installed this spring right there at the school. This has always been a dream of Jan’s and now the dream will become a reality. A beautiful garden for the children and the staff to smile in often remembering the kindness and joy Jan shared in the school for many years.

We would love to share with anyone who would like to show their appreciation for all Jan has done. All donations received will go directly to purchasing the plants for the memorial garden.

PLEASE have your donations in by June 1, and PLEASE keep it a secret….KES wants to surprise her with a special space representing all the special years she gave to the children.

Thanks in advance to all who help send her off in the style she deserves. She is an amazing human who gives tirelessly to our community and we know, together, we can honor her in a grand way!
