Hi all!
I have created this campaign to help Jan and his family with expenses during this difficult time. I ask you to join me in making a donation and sharing the story to help the family.
Jan - a father, husband, and recent grandfather - has suffered a severe and debilitating stroke, hundreds of miles away from home. While on the road, making a living for his wife and himself, Jan had stopped at a rest stop. He suddenly experienced the stroke, alone. After coming to, Jan forced himself to crawl out of his truck to get help. With blood on his knees, hands, and elbows, he got the attention of a nearby customer who was able to call the medics.
We thank God Jan is alive and conscious, however, the fight is not over. For the past 15 days, Jan has been hospitalized and bedridden, struggling to feel, move, and regain awareness and memory. While he is making progress, it is slow, and much more care and attention is required in order for him to return home.
I have set a fundraising goal of $5,000 to help cover the cost of the expenses Jan and his family are now facing. I appreciate the donations of all those who contribute. The family thanks you.
