“I’m Mohammed Hammad Al Kareem Al-Obeid from Palestine, specifically the Gaza Strip.

We are living through bombing, killing, hunger, and constant displacement. Our home was completely destroyed, and job opportunities are nonexistent.

We were never used to asking for help — we always depended on ourselves — but this war has pushed us to the point of starvation. Hunger is not easy. I have risked my life just to feed my family, but the occupation’s bullets follow us everywhere.

I have lost many members of my family. Please pray for them.

I also care for several stray cats who need urgent medical attention.

My plea is purely humanitarian: please help us survive.”

The cost of living in Gaza is devastating: a single bag of flour now costs up to $300, and even basic vegetables like onions and tomatoes are nearly unaffordable. On top of this, high transfer fees take up to 40% of the help he receives.

His family faces hunger daily, has no stable income, no safety, and no reliable access to clean water or medicine. Mohamed’s brother also has a disability in his hand and a war injury in his foot, which makes their daily struggle even harder.

The purpose of the fundraiser is to raise enough money to support himself and his family, given the difficult circumstances they are facing.
