Help Ease Cost During Cancer Battle

This is my dear friend Jammie. She is doing the unimaginable. She is battling cancer....for the second time, and she is only 32 years old (or 27 as she likes to claim!). 

Earlier this year, Jammie started having severe back pain. At first, she was told she had a slight tear and to just take it easy. But the pain was so much it would cause her to black out. She went for a second opinion. After several tests, the results came back that she has stage 4 cancer. She has already had one surgery and has been receiving radiation. After a recent fall that put her in the hospital, the doctors have decided to radiate her hip as well. 

She and I are both flight attendants and we met on a trip together. We instantly became friends. She is the kind of person everyone needs as a friend. Always smiling, always happy, always positive. Even with all that she is going through right now, she still remains positive...I truly admire that about her.

With all that Jammie has to worry about, I want to try and give her one less thing to deal with. She has been out of work for almost 6 months now. She is seeking treatment in Wisconsin and her home is in Michigan. My goal is to raise money to help pay for her rent and some other bills. Currently, since Jammie is unable to work, she is living off of disablity, which is not enough to cover her living expenses as well as medical bills. Any amount helps, or even just sharing her story. Let's give Jammie one less thing to worry about so she can put all her focus on kicking cancer's butt!
