Jamie's Jar Recovery Fund

Jamie has been a part of our Harley family for 8 years- as one of our expert technicians in our service department. He comes to work every day to wrench on bikes- because he loves it. He spends his day making sure every bike that hits the road is safe to ride and is getting the TLC it needs. He's seen many wrecked bikes roll in and there is always a story behind each dinged gas tank and scuffed up fenders, many of them close calls.

On October 30th, Jamie rode into work as he does every day on his Harley. It's the only way he ever gets to work- those trusted 2 wheels, but on this day Jamie didn't make it to work. A distracted driver rear ended Jamie on his motorcycle, and he is now is in critical condition and fighting for his life.

Jamie is a close friend to us all.  We can't believe that his life is now changed forever. That his work station is empty with bikes still on the lift he was scheduled to finish. We know how important his family is to him and we are asking for your support to help them through this time and to help aide in Jamie's recovery.  Funds fromt his campaign will  support Jamie's family and his recovery and will go directly to his wife Stacey McGill.

Your donation is appreciated and will help keep Jamie's family focused on his recovery He has a very long road ahead and will need everyone's support to help him and his family through this difficult time. We will also be setting up Jamie's Jars in all our Orlando Harley-Davidson stores to collect money - hence the title.

Next time you hit the road, remember that a simple disctraction can change a life. As motorcyclist, we learn that this is one of the most important rules of the road. Whatever it is, it can wait. Life is too precious, friends are too dear, families shouldn't have to get this call. We are not built from steel and chrome, we cannot be put back together so easily.  Do not text and drive, do not allow distractions to happen. Watch out for motorcycles and treat each other well. Look Twice, Save a Life.
