My self and a group of supportive and loving friends and co-workers of Jamie's all wanted to come together and do what we could for her in this time. We decided to start this fund in hopes to take off the financial burden that she will incur through this unforeseen challenging time.  Jamie was diagnosed with breast cancer.  She was hopeful to get going on her life and career path to make the money in her commission role to support her son as a single mother. This life changing event has put a strain, to say the least, on a large part of her daily activities to make any money to make ends meet. She is going through her hardest part of Chemo right now.  This has kept her away from work for more than half the week each week, which puts a huge burden on working to bring in any money to support herself and her son.  Her pay checks and the hours that her body is allowing her to work, while going through treatment, is only covering her insurance premiums. This money will help Jamie have money to pay living expenses, groceries, car insurance, mortgage, medical bills and just to be able to feed herself and her son each day.  Once Jamie has completed her chemo, she will then be going through a mastectomy, and this will cause her to be down 6-8 weeks.  She will get through this, as she is a determined women and will fight to be around for her son. She has come a long way with building a life for her and her son and their new home. Neighborhood friends of her son and his school has helped her son with his disabilities, too. This long road ahead for her, the stress & hardship of these financial burdens & worries is something this wonderful, strong, kind-hearted woman doesn’t deserve to have in her life.  Her need is immediate and greatly appreciated and prayer warriors out there, please come together to pray for healing and strength for our beautiful friend Jamie.
