As many of you know, Jamie has found her PERFECT MATCH!  She will be heading to SLC February 14th and will have her kidney transplant surgery February 16th.   Jamie will have to be off work for an extended period of time.   She will need to be in SLC for 4-5 weeks and then have to travel there for check ups.  There will be expenses that are not covered by insurance,  which will include out of pocket expenses for anti-rejection meds, and they don't come cheap.

I figured since so many of us love her so much, we probably want to help her out a little in her time of need.  No amount is too small.  If  you can't help her monetarily, good thoughts and wishes are much appreciated.   Below is a description from Jamie herself about the condition she has:

Hello dear family and friends!
As some of you are aware, I was diagnosed with a kidney disease back in 2009 called FSGS. I've been able to maintain decent function levels over the last 6.5 years to the point where I sometimes even forgot I had this. Well, a couple months ago at my 3 month check up with my Nephrologist, I was informed that my function rate of the kidneys had finally dropped enough that it was time to get on the transplant list to find a kidney donor :( Hearing this news was definitely a shock- I knew that this day would eventually come but I guess I was hoping I had a few more years til we would reach this point.

Thank you to all of my loved ones for all the love and support that I have already received over the last few months! It has been stressfull at times, but I definitely couldn't do it without the help and encouragement from everyone.
