Jamie’s funds for a CUBBY bed

Hey guys, my name is Jennifer. I am a mom to a special person named Jamie. Jamie has severe autism. He suffers from maladaptive disorder as well. Also, he has an issue with nightmares and insomnia (he has stayed up till 3 am on multiple occasions). He will stim and do anything to try and destroy items in his room (items being his bed, a TV, etc.) or around the house. We have currently gone through 3 beds and mattresses due to this. He tends to find a way to make a small hole in the mattresses and take out the foam. He also suffers from elopement, during which he hides himself under his bed and we can’t find him. I have been seeking help through his insurance and have yet to be approved for this bed. Being that we are not funded by the state for his medical items, we are providing for him and 3 other kids. Sometimes the medical devices that are needed for him can be very expensive. I am reaching out to see if you all could help with funding the CUBBY bed for us. It’s totaled to be over $10,000. The bed is intended to help kids like Jamie. Please help a family in need with the sunshine. Autism is us; we are autism, and we will do anything to help Jamie get through life.
