My name is Kerry Donovan. My sister is Jamie Amado. If you know Jamie, you know she’d give you the shirt off her back. She has become very ill over this past year. She needs help walking; her balance is off to the point she has had numerous falls in the last few months and sometimes needs help walking. Jamie is in physical therapy and occupational therapy. Not only is it her balance, but her hands, legs and feet are numb, making everything limited. It’s something neurological, and they can’t even see her till February 2026. She cannot work because her job involves typing, which is something she’s struggling to do. On top of that, her vision is going. She’s been to many hospitals in South Carolina and even flew to Boston. They keep saying vitamin deficiency, but referring her to specialists such as hematology and neurology since the treatments for vitamin deficiency have not been working. Nobody can figure out what’s wrong with my sister. She needs a neurologist. Unfortunately, there is a shortage of neurologists all over the place. She’s in constant pain or just completely numb. Anything contributed would be greatly appreciated and helpful toward medical bills and daily costs of living.
