Jamie Johnson Rau
Jaime was diagnosed with Carcinoma nine months ago. He resided in Florida most recently and was finally able to gain enough strength to return to his parents’ home in Durango, Colorado. Jaime has a 10-year-old son, Ayden, that he has full of custody of who will subsequently be raised by his grandparents, Bob and Sherry Rau. Jamie is being instructed by his medical providers to get his affairs in order and is expected to fight his battle with cancer for another six to nine months. He has been reduced to 108 pounds. There is not enough time for a 30-year-old to live a lifetime of memories in these short years or to share family traditions with his son over the decades.
We would like to alleviate some of the financial stress on this family from travel to medical expenses as well as providing an opportunity to give Jamie some life experiences that he has always dreamed of. Jamie loves to fish and go shooting. He has a passion for fast cars and has always wanted to ride in a Ferarri. His father, Bob Rau, has always wanted to rent a condo at Purgatory resort with Jamie and his grandson for an opportunity to create some lasting memories for the whole family. These are simple wishes that would mean the word to Jamie and his family.
