Dear family and friends,

As some of you may or may not know our daughter and sister, Jamie, is in need of a liver transplant. Last November, we almost lost her due to an infection from fluid that had built up in her abdomen. She was hospitalized and diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver. She continues with tests and procedures and has been hospitalized three times. She has been unable to work and her husband, Kevin, is the only financial support. Even with insurance, the medical costs are mounting up. She is currently on a donor list for a liver, but depending on the type of donor it could be some time before one becomes available.
