Support Queen of Tape in rebuilding her foundation

Anna Dominguez also known as “Queen of Tape” is an amazing artist. She is also an incredible human.
Jamie learned about her work in 2015 and was lucky to commission pieces from her for a few of her clients as gifts that year. Everyone loved the art & Anna continued to create work for them, as well as develop her talents into a plethora of opportunities as an artist in the following years.
Jamie enjoyed watching her evolution on Instagram & was really proud to see her obtain her first solo exhibit at the John Hancock building in Chicago in August of 2021.
Little did she know that Anna was in the early stages of significant personal issues, that resulted in a downward spiral of events over the following year and half. The events left Anna unable to physically and emotionally create her work.
Last month, Anna found the courage to reach out to Jamie for help. They met and talked about what happened. Anna opened up to Jamie and together they’ve been working on a plan to turn things around.
We decided to setup the JamieMakeup Artist-In-Residence program to help Queen of Tape in this critical time of transition. Our goal is to support her in rebuilding the foundation any human needs to be successful. The next sixty days are designed to provide a sanctuary for her to heal, reflect, and plan. After completing the program, our hope is that Anna will be able to start creating work again, and begin to monetize her talents.
You see, artistry is a central piller of JamieMakeup. The respect, appreciation and attention that’s given to the design of our products is a huge reason we’ve been successful. Jamie is lucky to spend her days painting faces, creating looks and making content for a living. She often collaborates with some of the most successful artists in the world. We see this program as the beginning of an effort to pay it forward to other artists in need.
We appreciate you considering a donation to help cover the costs of the Program for Queen of Tape. All funds donated will go towards paying for minimal living expenses, transportation as well as professional fees for healthcare and wellness exercises being provided during the sixty days. A small portion of fhe funds will also be go towards establishing ongoing support & accommodations for Anna following the program. JamieMakeup will be covering incremental costs that surface as well as donating the 15% fee that is paid to GoFundMe directly to the Anna after funds are successfully raised.
