Hi, my name is Cassidy Barkley and I am trying to raise money for my mom Andrea during this difficult time.

On October 28th 2024 my Father Jamie took his last breath. My dad suffered from multiple different medical diagnoses in such a short period of time. Within the last few years, he got diagnosed with a heart and lung conditions which caused him to be in and out of bgh and kgh. His heart condition caused him to go into heart failure and his lung condition caused him to be on oxygen 24/7 along with other things that the doctors could not figure out.

My dad Jamie was an amazing person with such a funny personality to go along with it. He would crack jokes all the time and do silly things. I could go on all day and night about how great he was and how much he loved his family.

2 days ago he went to bgh due to not being able to walk or breath alongside the support of the oxygen. We did not know that he would not be coming home. Just after midnight on October 28th, his heart stopped and despite the doctors and nurses best efforts, my dad was gone. This all happened so fast and we did not expect this to happen so soon.

My Mother Andrea is left with so many things to figure out and not really leaving much room for the grieving process.

I am making this go fund me page in hopes to support her through this difficult time for our family to take some of the financial burden away from us. We just want to lay our beloved Dad and Husband to rest the way he deserves to be.
