Jamie Sweet Breast Cancer Fund

"lifeissweet" says it all about this fantastic woman! Jamie Sweet is a single mother of 3, a local Fenton business owner and a friend to so many.

At the young age of 41 recently got the call that none of us women want to hear. After many tests, it was confirmed on August 22, 2022 that Jamie has High Grade DCIS with Necrosis & Her2+ breast cancer, due to the risk and rate it's spreading Jamie will have a double mastectomy to stop further growth. Jamie is the sweetest girl, always the one to encourage others with a warm, huge hug. She has become such a blessing to so many of us as well as an inspiration of what strong women can be. Jamie is my best friend and has been my rock throughout my life and many others. Jamie is just 41 and is self employed. She owns Back to Basics Wellness Center on North Leroy in Fenton, Michigan. She will need help with medical and house expenses and needs to be secure knowing her business will be in good standing when she is finished with surgery and treatments.

Jamie's surgery is currently being scheduled after she completes more scans. We will update you with her surgery date. Afterward, it's unknown whether she will need chemo or radiation. At the time of surgery, she will not be able to work, during any additional treatments that may be necessary, she may also be unable to work. As a single woman, this is her only form of income.
