Jamie Starace's 50 laps for Brad

Donation protected
This fundraiser is here to help Brad's medical expenses and to show our love and support for him. Brad has been diagnosed with both Hodgkin's and Non-hodgkin's lymphoma cancer. Here is his story.

Brad has never been one to let life pass him by.  Whether he was the life of the party, the worker staying late, or the friend to show up as the world seemingly crashed around you, he made sure he was there to set an impression. He took this to the next step and began motorcycle racing, and has been a motorcycle racer for several years now. He's competed all across the country, while traveling at high speeds within inches of other riders. After having back surgery in the latter part of 2017, he took a break in 2018 , but he did not stay too far from the track. He participated as a crew chief at MotoAmerica's Road Atlanta round for long time friend Garrett O'Brien. In August of 2018 he competed in an endurance race at Virginia International Raceway with friends, despite not feeling well. He offered assistance in the form of advice, lending a helping hand, or offering a cold drink. Little did they know as to what was to come.

In September of 2018 Brad was diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkin's Lymphoma cancer.  As time progressed through November, the cancer caused other issues, resulting in weeks long hospital stays and emergency surgery.  Weeks before Christmas, Brad was also diagnosed with Diffuse Large B-Cell Hodgkin's cancer. The probability of being diagnosed with both types is extremely low, and requires a great deal of healthcare to undergo treatments for both types. Due to the toll it places on the body it makes it much more difficult to receive this healthcare. However, Brad has fought on. It has not been easy though. His body is drained. As would anyone, he has had to deal with a great deal of mental anguish, but he fights on with his wife Kendall steadfastly at his side. If there was ever a testament to love, Kendall's care for her newly wedded husband should no-doubt be placed in the dictionary as the standard for us all.

On January 12th, 2019, Jamie Starace will complete 50 laps in Brad's honor at Jennings GP raceway in Jennings, FL. Jamie has asked to donate any dollar amount for Brad to this soften the cost of his cancer treatments. All donors, regardless of amount, will be entered to win a Bell Racestar helmet, donated by Garrett O'Brien. After the 12th,  Brad and Kendall will then receive the collections from this fundraiser. Brad worked two jobs and the loss of income, plus the added expenses has created an extra stressor for the family.

Any amount is greatly appreciated. Any amount enters you to receive the Bell Racestar helmet. Please leave loving messages for him to show he is thought of.
