Sometimes watching the strongest most independent people we know face the hardest times of their lives leave us frozen and not knowing what to do. This is the time we must rally together to help!
While Jamie and Philip have known each other since adolescent years, they finally had the stars align to show them that they had met their soulmate long ago. Merely 6 months ago, they officially started their journey together as a married couple and have been happier than they have ever been. Anyone could see from pictures or hear in their voices, this is the real love that people pray to be blessed with. Things had changed and they were on a bright path.
Unfortunately, tough times hit them sooner than expected and on December 11th Phil was admitted into the ICU with Covid-19 shortly after vising AZ for the funeral of Phil's beloved grandfather. A few days after being admitted, Philip was sedated and intubated as what has turned into just the beginning of his battle from this awful virus. After weeks of being intubated, the doctors made the decision to do a tracheotomy, in an effort to get him more comfortable. During this process, Philip began having issues additional issues, causing the need for a tube to be inserted into his right lung. Philip has a tough fight ahead of him and a long rode to recovery.
While Philip fights, Jamie has stayed strong by his side both physically and spiritually. She has had to endure mother nature's fiery as the farm suffered from the wind storms, find ways to give comfort to Stella while not knowing how to find comfort herself and keep life a float while the bills have piled up. Philip is a self-employed tattoo artist that has now been out of work and will remain out of work for months to come due to recovery and rehabilitation. Jamie has had to find ways to keep his business going, while continuing to add up more debt. All of this mounting to an unfathomable amount of stress.
This is where we can help! First I ask you to pray and pray hard! The power of prayer is amazing and is most definitely needed first and foremost. Secondly, I am asking that you give what you can to help ease the burden of their financial stresses at this time. Allow their energy to be focused on healing and support, while we work together to lessen the monetary burden. No amount is too small and every penny will be greatly appreciated. On behalf of Jamie and Phillip, thank you so much for your love, support, prayers and contributions!
