Jamie Miller's Road to Recovery
Spende geschützt
On Saturday, September 21st, Jamie was working outside on the new house when he fell off some scaffolding and onto the concrete below. Luckily, a nearby neighbor spotted Jamie and called 911 fairly quickly. Jamie was found unconscious and taken by life flight to Sanford in Fargo.
Since arriving at Sanford, Jamie is awake but very out of it and not talking much. By some miracle, he has no visible gashes or wounds nor any broken bones. Initial CT scans, however, found some bleeding in his brain. Jamie was immediately put on anti-seizure meds and other medication to help stop the bleeding. As of today, September 23rd, the bleeding has stopped, and surgery will not be needed as long as the bleeding doesn’t return. Jamie is still very out of it and does not seem to have his full memory back just yet.
The road to recovery will be long for Jamie and it’s currently unknown how long he will remain in the hospital. For the next several months at the very least, Jamie will be unable to work – both at his full-time job and his newfound “second job” of building a beautiful new home in Lake Park for him and Patti and their crazy but wonderful dogs. This will undoubtedly put a strain on the family both mentally and financially.
We are collecting funds on behalf of Jamie and Patti and their families to help ease any amount of financial stress possible. Thank you in advance for your love and support. Even a prayer goes a long way! Please keep Jamie and Patti and their families in your thoughts.
